Step 02 · Timing

Timing techniques

Find the stock first. Then let the techniques argue about the entry.

Pick a stock to see its signals across 23 techniques; click a technique to draw its chart. The live timing view runs in the GetCoattail app — this page lists every technique it checks, in the app's own words.

A ★ next to a stock in the app means the selected technique's buy signal is on right now. Signals use real Yahoo daily bars; if the bars cannot be loaded the chart is marked unavailable — it is never filled in with invented data.

Practice a technique

Every technique can be drilled in Holdfire practice: a deep link of the form /practice/?ticker=AAPL&tech=rsi opens a quiz for that stock and technique, scored against the real bars that followed. It currently covers 302 stocks.

Signals are a starting point, not a verdict — the techniques' family records and every other signal on this site are scored on the Track Record.
